Gotta be clear that other teams have been told to attack PG whenever he decides to bring up the ball–red light time. So, our guards have to be more assertive in going to get the ball. If they do, PG will give it up. Problem is that they defer to PG way too much. Ty Lue can’t be happy with this crappy play.

I’m going to catch some flak, but if the team can get Simmons and another nice player for PG, I would do it. He has built his value back up, trade him and get a haul.

It’s so deflating as a teammate to see a guy just constantly turn it over carelessly. It makes you want to ballhog yourself as you know you won’t get that many opportunities.

PG is sooo very careless with the ball. At what point does Lue pull him after a dumb drive directly into two players to make him understand that he plays with 4 other guys. I hope someone on that team has the balls to tell him he needs to value possessions.

I mean I think a lot of it is just shots not falling like they did last year. Is this due to the new ball? is this due to the fans in the stands? do we expect the shooting to get better throughout the year or is this who they are now?

I actually feel like if shots were falling like they did last year, the assist numbers would be up from last season. So I don’t think there is something fundamentally wrong with the system they’re playing. I think their percentage of open and wide open shots are basically in line with last season.

While a better playmaking point guard could help, what is really needed is anyone that could take some of the ball handling away from Paul George. I mean I think if you saw Kawhi back, PG’s usage would revert back to year’s past and so would his turnovers. Obviously we can’t count on that, but the point is, I don’t think you need a ball dominant point guard that’s going to completely take the ball away from PG, but there might be a tipping point where having the ball in PG’s hands too much starts to hurt you.

But again, if the shots start falling at the rate they did last season, I think suddenly the offense would look pretty good.

Zu should’ve dominated. He didn’t.
Morris, Bledsoe and Ibaka to an extent, should be traded.

There is more than enough time this early in the season for Serge to get going until then.  Hart has dutifully earned his minutes and Lue must be meritorious on this.

PG’s turnovers are becoming a constant in recent games which may have already infected others in the team.

0 points from Jackson including a free throw … tsk2!!

Perhaps the FO needs to get a good offensive minded coach to help out while there is still time, the current system has not been effective.

I thought it was a mistake to go small to close out the game. At least the first half, I thought the size of Zu and his offensive rebounds were keeping them in the the game. Unfortunately without Nico, I just don’t think the Clips have the personnel to play small ball.

Hart has definitely outplayed Serge on nearly every occasion. I get trying to get Serge going, but in my mind, Hart has earned minutes, so Serge either needs to play along side him, or not at all. Even though I didn’t give it a great chance of working, I still would’ve liked to see some minutes for them together this game.

Otto Porter seems like such a good pickup for the W’s. Can’t believe they’re paying him the minimum. I couldn’t help but think if he would’ve taken our MLE instead of Winslow, but I guess this is exactly the situation he was looking for if he gave up money to play for what is looking like a contender.

Turnovers, sloppy plays. The clippers could have won this game because the Dubs where bad.
Reggie was inexistent, and the Team had no mvt in offense. No ball mvt at all.
This one goes on PG13. Ass an All star you cannot throw away the ball so often. And he is not connected to Ty Lue, one can see that.
Hartenstein was a positive factor though.
Zubac struggeled.
