I don’t disagree, and I’m not desperate to break up the team but *if* another top 20ish guy becomes available, I think you gotta at least inquire about the asking price – there’s only so many minutes to go around, assuming PG13 and Kawhi are back.

I’d rather Luke start with Mann in the backcourt and sit Reggie for awhile.

Scoring would be scarce with our bench with just Coffey and Hart. Hopefully Covington will be available.

I’d slot in Luke for Mann in the starting line up. Need that shooting and Mann has always been a spark off the bench. I mite also give Amir a start and rest Mook a bit since Amir had recent great success while a starter.
Zu/Hart: I’d be embarrassed. Poor defense and Zu just gets his pocket picked way too much.

Haynes last nite also stated that KL looked like he was moving “completely without limitation.” A very good sign. He then stated that Ty told him that it would be dangerous for KL and PG to come back for the POs (assuming good to go) without first having some reg. season ramp up. But, as Ty has said before, he’s not a doc. I’m still holding out some hope that we see all 3 guys back for a few reg. season games (but only if we’re still in the play-in but, the way we’re playing now, that’s not a given).

Hood is not good and is a guard not a forward. I wouldn’t be immensely opposed to keeping him as a depth piece, but I’d rather go for someone with more upside.

Luke and Mook both had subpar games, but they are both very good role players on our team, and we can’t expect them to be All Star players. This year has been ok considering our injuries, and our guys have shown huge growth (Coffey, T. Mann, Zu). We should try to keep the band together until we get PG and KL back healthy.

Without RoCo, we are down possibly 4 of our top 10 players for the playoffs rotation.
Even with these last 2 losses, we are still 7-3 in the last 10 games and we are somehow 1 game above .500.
Annoyingly positive, right?
I don’t know, this team always surprise me.
I have no idea how his body works.
But for a reserved and private guy like Kawhi, him showing up for pre-game work out is quite interesting.
Regular season is a month from now. He may or may not be ready for it.
But the way he construct his contract extension to let the door open for him to be back this season if possible.
That shows how much commitment he has with the team.
We still have a lot to look for and can we count the play-in as extended regular season? 🙂
Believe in this team, let’s see how it goes.
