Those 4th quarter TOs were some of the worst I’ve ever seen at any level lol. I’ve never seen pros just completely go briandead the second their opponent decides to put pressure and trap the ball. I started out laughing watching the 4th, then slapping my forehead as they continued, and finally breathing a sigh of relief after the game ended. I don’t know how this team fixes the TO issues, even w/ Kawhi, but it’s something they gotta solve before they can really be considered dangerous in the postseason.

DLo is inconsistent and a bad defender, but he’s a more reliable ball handler/shot creator than either of KPJ or Dunn. I don’t actually think Bones is any worse than KPJ, but he just hasn’t earned Ty’s trust so either way we aren’t getting anything out of him. If PJ (less than worthless) and Bones (almost entirely unused) is all it’d take for Russell I’d do it.

I don’t watch the Lakers, but I doubt D’Lo is any worse than KPJ. Would the Nets realistically take PJ and Bones for D’Lo so we can bury KPJ on the bench?

On Adam Ausland’s Clippers Talk, Jonathan Eng. had a hilarious comment that the 4th quarter was the worst basketball that he has ever seen at the pro, college, high school or rec. league level. LOL.

Anyways, we got it right, we got the ball over the half court line, Norm hit a timely three, Zu had a huge block and DJJ jumped through the rafters to slam.

Yeah it finally got fixed. Reminds me of a win we had recently where I was listening to sports talk radio post game and the news guy was rattling off the NBA results (ours was completed). He “neglected” to mention our score. Hilarious?

Well that was a weird game. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that 4th quarter. Kind of a classic Clipper sequence. And the beauty of the new era and new team–and how the Warriors have fallen into a deep dark hole–is that the Clips actually won.

As much as I hate to accept it, it looks like Bones might be getting shipped out at any moment, sooner rather than later. Or maybe Ty was just trying something, getting an extensive look at Dunn as the backup PG and primary ballhandler, beginning the process of shortening the rotation in preparation for Kawhi’s arrival.

Don’t know what to make of the chaos of the 4th quarter. It meant that Jordan Miller never got any 2nd half run, and I was expecting to see Bones get 8 or 10 minutes too, if the Clips had kept the lead at 20+ points through the first 2-4 minutes, rather than notching five straight turnovers, or whatever it was. Funny how Harden came back in and threw gas on the fire–you want turnovers? Nobody on this team is going to turn it over more than me!

Despite the clowning (and his own 4 turnovers), Norm managed to get his scoring over his 24pt average, and he restored some order in the final minutes. Zu hit his numbers too. The rebounding wasn’t going his way in the first half–so any offensive rebounds for GSW! not as bad as the 4th quarter TOs, but it was holding LAC back in a big way, keeping GSW close–but he did better in the 2nd. Zu only got 9 shot attempts, which is not enough. The TO barrage cost him some looks.

Good to get past the rash of miscues, get the win and move on. Brandon Boston (and Daniel Theis) and the Pelicans next. They’re getting guys back and should be coming out of their pit of despair, getting more competitive.

Petty stuff but noteworthy. ESPN still hasn’t adjusted their conference standings with our win tonight which would land us in 5th place and the Lakers in 6th place. They immediately dropped Denver within minutes of their losing but 8 hours later they still have the Lakers in 5th place and us in 6th. Am sure that by Saturday sometime this will be rectified but how pathetic that some tool can’t bring themselves to calibrate things honestly and accordingly. Yes. It’s like that.
