NBA Last 2 Minute Report: There were 3 infractions on GSW that were not called. So the “refs cost GSW the game” is horse-pucky.

One was an offensive foul that should have wiped away one of Curry’s 3’s.

Yes, the missed goal-tending call on Collins earlier was wrong. But it was a close play that the refs can easily miss. Not excusing it, but it happens all the time. The fact that Kerr (who I like and respect) went nuts was a bit disproportionate.

Sanders is a good get.
I always going back to his interview before the draft. For a guy projected to be in the second round, he is so confident in himself in a good way.
He stressed importance of family support, hard working and resiliency in difficult moment.
Perfectly suit for this team and especially this season.
….
I still believe Yanic will get to play when the time is right.
Let’s see.

Kawhi playing with Sanders gives me a lil bit of a pix on how it mite have been had we kept SGA and if Kawhi would have signed up to play here without bringing in another big name. Sanders is 2″ taller and 12 lbs heavier and has a somewhat similar game to SGAs way back then. Sanders has potential and we’re seeing it. Don’t squander that pick Clips.

Kobe is the real deal. I really like how he plays. Lue better keep him in the lineup.

Reading a lot about Zu. I don’t like it. Who will anchor the defense? I’d get rid of Harden 1st.

Joe M of the Celtics completely schooled Lue. Lopez was totally exposed. The Celtics jumped all over the Clippers in the 1st quarter. I admired how well-coached the Celtics are.

Play Yanik with the 2nd unit.

Can’t blame the refs for the loss. Same old story: a loss doesn’t come down to one play. Lots of reasons it was a one-possession game. Sure Curry is great, but he was 2-15 from 3 until the last 2 minutes.

And they had plenty of FT attempts. Both teams played poorly. So there’s plenty of blame to go around.

For what it’s worth Dunn has been shooting pretty well. But yea, if the choice is between (1) wide open shot for Dunn, or (2) one-on-one matchup for Kawhi, teams are gonna take (1) 100% of the time. It just feels like if Ty/Kawhi know a double is coming (which they should’ve known), then there should be *some kinda* offensive adjustment to help w/ that – whether that’s more movement by off-ball guys, different lineups, or whatever. Like I know I’m not a coach, but I just feel like pulling my hair out watching this team struggle w/ double teams and full-court press (i.e. concepts that seem pretty fundamental to professional basketball).
