Just finished listening to your podcast with Duby from the Warriors side.

My god, that was cringe worthy to listen to. The dude had a very tough time of being objective. I sense that he still feels the rivalry is still alive between the ball clubs by taking small jabs by saying “Steph killed you guys, Steph killed you guys” and “we were responsible of ending Lob City”. And to say that the last Warriors victory put the league on notice? The only thing that was put on notice was Clippers have a lot of fixing to do and that centers on Lou and Zu.

I know you guys are trying to get a different perspective from other clubs, but I know there are better options than the Homer you brought on. At least you guys gave some praise or props to the opponent but Mr. Duby couldn’t do the same to save his life.

I’ll just skip the next podcast if it involves people from the warriors or lakers.

He hasn’t earned more minutes, but at this point the bench approach is less “he’s earned a shot at more playing time” and more “fuck, everything looks horrible right now, we might as well try something different”

I really hope Lue simplifies things for Lou…watching him pump fake despite clearly not intending to shoot it, and then shooting it anyways afterwards from a standstill is so frustrating – he’s very, very clearly overthinking things and hesitating. There’s only so much about his game that he can effectively change at this stage in his career I suppose.

I will say I do appreciate that it looks like he’s trying harder on defense this season though (even though the results haven’t been there).

I never thought he was gonna be like an All-Star caliber C, but the kinds of passes he’s dropping, and his lack of fight are alarming – even if the shots aren’t falling, the effort is entirely within his control. I agree w/ the overall point though about needing to play him w/ better/stronger lineups – but at this point it’s not to “support” him as much as it is to “cover for him,” which I’m incredibly sad to say.

I wouldn’t put Mann in. I’d play Luke more w/ starters and PG more as the bench SF to help stabilize that unit. And I’d empower Lou to be Lou, which I think more has to do with scheme/instructions than who he is playing with.

Lucas mentioned it on Twitter but part of putting in Mann and moving Luke to start is to free Lou to be Lou again.

I agree on the last point. 2 of PG/Kawhi/Batum/Morris at all times. If Ty wants to keep the 10-man rotation alive w/ Reggie, I’m cool with it–play Reggie/Lou/Wing/Wing/Zu on the second unit and play Kennard with the starters. Of all the subs I think Luke is the best fit w/ the first unit because of his great floor spacing and his ability to make smart plays for himself and others without needing to dominate the ball.

He’s just not that good! If you read anything that I’ve had to say, you’d know why I say this.. If you’re not going to start him, he NEEDS to play more with Kawhi & Morris since he had great chemistry with both last year.. 2 of your wings must also be on the court at all times.. That alone should help

Mann hasn’t earned or deserved any min, let’s please stop that! Wasn’t high on him before the season but I was hopeful, unfortunately, he is who he is… Not very good!

You talking the Mann who Lucas says is unplayable? Regardless, I’m with you on giving the guy some rope, especially after last nite. I’d say the same about Reggie Jackson. Give him some rope too. As to LouWill, agree he was lights out in preseason and has shown some flashes. But the bad Lou is surfacing more now than the good.

I’ll say one thing that’s for damn sure: Clips will drown out all the doom and gloom if they can thump the Bulls tom.
