Caught a couple minutes of the game. Clip youngsters seem to be holding their own against guys who should be taking it to them. I like our rookies. They each have good potential, but agree with Clippervida in that they are at least a year away from contributing anything to the big club. I really want to see Coffey do well, but that guy needs to work on his handle and vision. Maybe he is what he is and that’s fine. He still has a ton of value as a long, athletic guy who will mix it up, play good D and know his place in the pecking order. If that’s the case, he needs to turn himself into a lights out shooter off the pass.

Being from portland I can attest directly to their being the most provincial fans in the entire league. Shit like winning summer league games actually matters and about half their fan base will tune in like it’s a playoff game. “We beat the Clippers!” It’s really kind of pathetic.
