Regarding Winslow, my hesitancy with him is less health (he’s moving quite well I think) and more offensive skillset. He has no right hand dribble and just no finishing ability right now. The defense is decent, the rebounding is very good, but I just don’t think he will stick in the rotation when Morris returns (whenever that is).

Bledsoe’s almost there, right? And it’s just highly comical how there were questions about all these guys, even as we were all saying it’s so early, we don’t know anything yet, give it time, but still. Zu and Reggie Jackson. TMann and Kennard. They were all onboard by game 5, as it turned out, though it took a few games before we realized that it was real. Even then, Bledsoe was the sore thumb. The same refrain, it’s early, he won’t miss shots and look this bad for the whole season, but still. And now he’s not just okay and holding his spot, he’s good, he’s another weapon.

All the more credit to Paul George, who has a sort of presidential gravitas, the star who had to take the helm from the first game, while everybody else sorted themselves out. Nic Batum is there too, after sitting out that first game, and he’s like some sort of wizard/consigliere sidekick to PG, the stealthy complementary genius. Add in the center triangle–giant kudos to Serge for going to get reps, and what is there to say about Hartenstein–and… oh yeah, the Clips are missing their best player, btw.
