As I am in a highly emotional state when it comes to this team and wanting a championship I realize that only 1 team can win. It’s the lackluster effort and no attention to detail that makes me think that this is not working in the moment. I also think that they can pull it together if they come together. I’m not going to badmouth anyone in particular because they are capable of producing. However, I can’t stand wasted potential. We can and must do better. LFG Clippers !

Those are fair points. I meant PG doesn’t add value next to Kawhi. And I meant that he doesn’t play as well as he could when he plays with Kawhi. I agree that Russ looks good with Kawhi, but I feel like Russ improves PG more than he improves Kawhi.

In regards to a Mann, Norm, Batum, Kawhi and Zu line up, I would have Mann initiate the offense and use Batum as the fulcrum. I’d also be open to swapping Norm for EJ, but I feel like Kawhi likes playing with Norm because of how well Norm can cook up his own offense, but I can see EJ being better in that role and also potentially being an upgrade defensively.

As much as I get angry and stomp around my tv room wanting to fire Coach, there is too much basketball to be played now.

Maybe, I’m just taking too long of a hit from the Bong of Clipper Optimism, but we have very good pieces around our healthy All Stars.

We definitely know what does not work.

Let’s start showing what does work.

Are our pieces perfect — far from it, plenty of warts, but sometimes, we see glimpses of the mythical Unicorn — beautiful basketball.

I enjoy so much watching Coffey, Luke, T-Mann, I-Hart and even Bled/Winslow put up a fight against anybody. I really miss it. It was an underdog-feels-good story. But when PG gets hurt, our season just ended. Reality is, talent is so important in crucial moment. You hustle with all you've got but you still need moment of cheer brilliance to push you to the top. It's only 5 guys from your team on the court. Everyone present 20% of what your team can do and it bumps up to 40-50% when things slow down and your main guy control everything. Just make sure Kawhi, and to some extent PG, is healthy. Then, you get a chance. No matter how slim it is, you still have it.

Really interesting takes here. Would like to have some insight as to what is really going on in the team. Kawhi and the other veteran players have seen a lot of ups and downs and know that one game does not make or break a season.
As much as I want to throw Coach under the bus (with PG, Russ and MM), it is a difficult year integrating so many different players at NBA game speed. But, that is why Coach gets paid $$$.
We have to just figure it out. Even if there were a handful of games left, as long as KL and PG are healthy, we’re in the mix.
