Paul George is as much of a threat as ever in his reformed Clippers role

• Denver is still very good, a title threat, but Gordon/Porter are a bit weaker this year. Murray has to be great for them to win, not mid. Was great against Boston; mid vs Philly.
• New Orleans looks like a top 6 team, though maybe not a top 4 team if no one among the top 4 has a fall off due to injury or poor play.
• Sacramento looks like a weak playoff team. Feels like they will fall into the play in without a trade.
• Phoenix is getting better and I’d rank them above both Sac and Dallas. They could possibly catch N.O. too.
• Lakers have played very well in their last few games. Rumors of a major trade and shakeup might cause them to lose more before they get it right, but they seem like a 5-8 team w/upside, much like last year.
• The Kyrie-Luka model in Dallas looks flawed. They play a lot better when 1 of those 2 isn’t on the floor. Could see a move here.
• Utah’s size and Markannen’s skill may be good enough to land them a play in spot and keep GSW/Houston out of the mix.
