OT, G-League Clip’s latest game.
Brown & Miller look better than their peers.
I like Cam & Flowers, give them their playing time over there and they will develop.
I think Flowers also looks like a good prospect. Dude is athletic with energetic playstyle. Reminds me a bit of AJJ of the Bucks (UConn guy)
Might not be a clear path for them in the near future but it’s good that we keep developing the young talent and hope they are ready when called upon.

Yeah, they really played to trap him and that backfired big time just like when teams try to trap James, he can find open guys (unless they pick his pocket). So yeah, Jpo, Ty needs to listen up and learn. But overall, pretty impressed with the Thunder. They just keep coming at ya.

Outside the missed FT’s and turnovers, the defense really bothered me this game.

You can’t help off your defender, trap or double Shai. He will find the open man leaving us exposed to offensive rebounds and wide open 3 pt shots or layups. You have to play Shai straight up and not switch on screens. Dunn & DJJ are our best POA defenders and they barely defended Shai 1 on 1 due to the switching on screens. Don’t switch and go under the screen. If Shai starts sinking 3 pt shots and long 2’s then so be it.

Agree we prob had no biz even having a shot to win that game so that’s a positive for the team going forward. Still infuriated with Zu’s dumb passes. I’d have taken him out and screamed to just “play better.” These guys are coddled and coaches have no balls. Kudos to Jim Jackson for replaying the dumb pass and calling Zu out for it. I think that was the same play the Thunder playing making the steal hit a 3 to drive the point home to Zu: blunders have consequences. I mean I can see a guy coming from behind and swiping the ball but when the defender is directly in the field of vision………..c’mon man!

Harden is no longer the Harden we knew. I hope some contender’s point guard goes down and the Clippers can dump him and his contract. He is too slow and too out of shape. Harden has lost his shot.

TMann is being reduced. He needs to shoot the ball. He passes up 3’s continually.

The Clips should have lobbed the Thunder into submission. It may have been advantageous to have played Skai Jones a bit. In the 2nd half, DJJ broke free several times.

Norman Powell is the real deal.

Batum is showing his age. Everyone loves him, as I do. Maybe it’s time to add Kobe to the mix.

Ty Lue didn’t prepare the team.

Crazy thought. I think norm is a hot trade target for contenders. If Kawhi is broken and we are heading for oblivion how about trading norm to OKC to get our pick swap back? They will get Chet back and Norm would put them over the top. It’s the one place we might be able to cut a lucrative deal. Only contenders would want Norm and all others don’t have draft pick capital we would want or be able to control. I realize this is very far flung but if played properly could put us into the Flagg sweepstakes or at worst into a very deep draft.

Not giving up but just floating options for moving forward. Am really enjoying the fight in this group.

Man I really would love to keep our draft pick this year (especially since it’s considered a strong draft)….and we really need to beat down Houston for that to happen.
