Yeah I agree … Bledsoe is the only one trying to generate something while the others sit still with their thumb up their asses.

IMO, I just don’t want to see the Reggie & Bledsoe backcourt anymore. It is as atrocious on defense as it is on offense. Ty Lue needs to replace with of those guys with Coffey in the starting lineup. At least Coffey can defend.

I clicked this one off at some point in the 3rd thinking I would get back to it, if it became a game again. Started watching The Matrix with my wife and got into it. Can’t believe I hadn’t watched it before now. Entertaining in a 1999 sort of way. Anyway, the game. I was so frustrated with the constant 2nd chance points. The Clips play borderline great (very good??) D 90% of the time. They just can not secure a defensive rebound to save their lives. If I’m frustrated watching it, Ty must be losing his mind watching it. The ball does take funny bounces, but rebounding is heart, hustle, early positioning and the willingess to give up your body for that ball. Serge looks like a freaking statue out there. Everyone else is just too small in a game of giants. The writer was spot on about Zubac (even Hart) being the difference between a W and L in this last game. Unless these guys are shooting lights out from 3, they won’t win another game with this crew unless they learn to get nasty and box out incoming players onto their backside. You can tell the word is out on the Clips and every team crashes the offensive boards hard.

Vent away, I’m with you. This will be a quite good team again when PG returns and back to a title-contending team if/when we get the great Kawhi back. Just get into the playoffs, play-in or otherwise, and Clippers have a shot.

This was actually more than I was expecting. Got within three points in the fourth quarter. Just couldn’t sustain it. But it got pretty entertaining for a while.

Actually, when you think about it, the play-in format was made for this Clipper team. Without it, our PO chances would be extremely thin. With it, we’ve got a fair amount of hope going on right now.

Couldn’t tell for sure if it was sarcasm but just gave me a chance to vent a lil bit. Being a patient fan is an oxymoron. I’m sure a lot of folks just tune out when the team is so far down from full strength. Kind of becomes unwatchable when it’s such an unfair fight. Here’s the real concern for this team: Whether we fall into such a deep hole that we’re just too far down to crawl back up (assuming we even get a semblance of full strength down the line). Worst case scenario: We fall way, way down, get back to full strength late, look like world beaters but then run out of games. I hope it doesn’t come to that.

Until we get more of our guys back, the remaining players have to play nearly perfectly for us to be able to win.

The offense was super stagnant in this one, and as much as I want to criticize Bledsoe for repeatedly recklessly taking it into the teeth of the defense, nobody else was moving off-ball – if Bled is gonna charge the hoop and 2 guys converge on him then somebody’s gotta move to get open and give him a passing lane. Luke coming back will help w/ the off-ball movement, but he can’t be the only one moving if we want to unlock the offense.

Well, this was pretty much what I was expecting from the Brooklyn game, so…delayed sadness I guess. At least it’s blunted sadness though, on account of us miraculously beating said Brooklyn Nets. Guys can’t get back soon enough – on to the next one, and hopefully we’ll get some more reinforcements soon.
