Agree. When he’s been aggressive he’s sometimes been fantastic. Aggressive or not, he’s one of the best shooters in the NBA.

Luke can do much better. Like T. Mann, Luke needs to be totally aggressive. He can be a total assassin. Don’t think, just shoot, baby!

Luke actually had a pretty good game, 4 for 8 from the field and 3 for 4 from three plus some rebounding. Coffey had that horrendous sequence where he received the ball in the corner with time to shoot but froze, then fumbled the ball away and they took it down and scored. 0 for 5 from three. He did have a couple steals.

That was a totally winnable game. It is frustrating when Luke doesn’t want to attack and shoot. Even Coffey will step back behind the 3pt line and try to shoot. Even Hart will try an ill-advised 3. In the 3rd, Coach left the starters in too long. Still, we’re playing a heck of a lot better than a month ago. If we had normal rest between games, maybe, we don’t make a few turnovers.
RoCo’s defense is fantastic.

My answer to your question is in my comment, lol. Who knows what they will do tonight, go all out or “preserve the troops”? Regardless, I’m sure whoever is on the floor will do their best. Houston should be a gimme but they’ll still have to play the game.

So it took one stellar game to flip your “it’s time to accept this is a lost season” proclamation? So what happens when they lay their next egg or suffer their next body part hurt? Back to banging the lost season drum? But I digress.
The game tonite presents a conundrum: Preserve the troops and prep for a vital win Thursday vs. Rox? Or, what if this one tonite is close at the end of 3? What then Ty? The fact Reggie and TMann each played close to 40 mins last nite is killer for tonite. Those guys have to be pretty bushed. OTOH, the team will have plenty of time to rest up after Thursday so why not try to get this one if it’s gettable? Also thot Amir looked pretty good handling the ball (albeit with a couple loose passes) so he mite see some PG duty.
I’d also put the GSW game in perspective as they have a pretty weak front line that our bigs feasted. Ayton’s a different animal altogether.
