Is there a timetable for Powell or is he just another one of our injury prone unreliable “stars”?

Not disappointed in Lue resting everyone. The Clips have played 31 games. Almost every WC team has played 28 games (some even less). So it makes sense that the team is tired. (Jazz have played 31 also). LAC can still come out of this homestand 4-1, and we’d feel pretty good about that after hosting Charlotte (and three days off Sun-Tues).

I was hopeful to see some break out minutes from Diabate, had a ton of offensive rebounds, but just made bad decisions after them.

Hopeful for Preston as well, but he was just “blah”.

Moses Brown was just bad. He got a lot of rebounds, but should have had more … he does a poor job of boxing out and gave up O Rebs to the Suns.

Coffey had one hot streak, but his no show in the first half contributed to the big deficit. All the other vets were uninspiring.

I was not impressed with Roco, Diabate or Moses Brown. Diabate had a lot of problems finishing in tight spots near the rim against taller/bigger players like Landale. He needs to work on pump fakes, pivot moves and has to demonstrate better power hops and extend his arms to get his shot off. He might not have the hops to make a real impact in the league.

Roco had a good stretch in Q4 vs Minnesota, but I don’t know what the heck he was doing tonight. Often shoots his jump shot leaning side ways instead of towards the rim. Defense is very spotty, relying on his hands to poke balls away instead of positioning himself properly. He should’ve had a double double tonight.

Moses Brown is slow and can only guard in drop coverage (a fancy way of saying that he can’t guard people off the dribble and has to fall back to let them take jump shots). I like Preston’s movement on the floor and his size. I really think he needs more time.

Wall didn’t deliver much tonight. Looking kinda washed. Hope he finds some niche skills that he can exploit. Right now his finishing at the rim is as bad as Russell Westbrook since he arrived with the Lakers. If he can’t finish at the rim, I don’t know what net value he adds.

Amir Coffey needs to get more consistent with his shot. He can have a high ceiling as a NBA player if he can find certain shots/spots on the floor where he can get buckets.

Mann was great tonight. Boston is a player. Shout out to Morris for giving the team 30 mins when everyone else sat. That guy will win playoff games for you.
