As I said elsewhare, we have better options than Bev, thankfully. When he eventually returns, I’d use him as a specialty option to harass a hot guard but not as a starter.

Couldnt agree more; personally I love big ZU and i think he will be really important in guarding slower bigs like Jokic, but last night simply was a bad game. I do not understand why we give him so much leeway when other players are not given the same type of considerations.

I’m four square behind the F for Bev. WTF does he do shit like this? I think the Flag 2 was more than justified and objectively speaking I wouldn’t cry over a game suspension. Draymond’s nut cracker on LBJ may have cost the Warriors another ring. We can’t have this type of WWE shit cost us in the playoffs. Otherwise I LOVE Bev:-)

Please put things into context! As I stated in the recap thread 1 of those rebounds was while Patt was switched onto Payne.. If you actually watch the replay, you’ll see Kawhi admitting fault for not blocking out Ayton.. On the other, Patt stepped up, near the baseline, to stop Book from driving.. The result, an airball on a fadeaway that legit landed to Ayton as he was boxed out under the rim by Patt & PG.. He quickly kicked out & Suns got hit with a 24 second violation.. Credit him for battling & getting it but c’mon.. Also, whether Patt was going up against Saric or Ayton, his IQ, effort & activity helped put a halt to the Suns offense.. I don’t wanna hear shit about them being tired cuz of a back to back when that roster is filled with young ass players! Also, when Zu was feasting against undersized guards & forwards, no one was using that against him.. In fact, he was getting nothing but praise, as he should have.. So keep the same energy with EVERYONE on the team!

I’ll add, that some of the boards Ayton got while Zu was on the floor weren’t on him either.. Difference is, he outplayed Zu, plain & simple, + Zu was getting hunted on PNRs.. Zu is a solid above avg complimentary player that fits in great with this team, nothing more.. In some matchups he excels, in others he doesn’t, plain & simple

I agree w/ pretty much all of these, but I would’ve bumped Reggie up to a B+ simply because of the timeliness of his buckets. I’m not sure if it’s by design, but he always seems to wind up on the receiving end of passes from Kawhi/PG13 at the end of the shot clock when the set playcall has failed and he just has to try to bail us out by chucking up a shot ASAP – and to his credit he’s been making a lot of those.

Hope he’s ok though – he took a shot from Torrey Craig that didn’t look like much in real time, but looked a lot worse in instant replay. Hopefully he doesn’t need to go into concussion protocol.
