Thoughts on the game:

Enjoyable game to watch. It was fun to see the Suns sweat. I've thought for a long while that Devin Booker is overrated. He's done nothing in these last 2 games to prove me wrong. Last year, people thought it crazy to say Shai was better than him (though I'd take Shai over him any day of the week). I don't think people think that's a crazy view any longer. He's a #2 or #3 option on a good team. Phoenix's season is almost certainly going to end in a first round or play in defeat. Phoenix should probably look to trade him or KD (Beal's contract isn't movable). The Knicks would be a good fit for either.
Very happy for Bones. Had Brandon Boston Jr not shot chucked so much, I think Bones would've gotten to 50 points and we would've won the game. I'm a Bones fan, but he's immature, gets in his feelings a lot and it leads to bad decisions. Today, when he was in a situation where the coach wasn't going to pull him, he played more relaxed, worked through mistakes and made a ton of great, eye popping plays. He has NBA level talent and he understands how the game is supposed to be played. He needs reps and a lot of emotional maturity. An underrated aspect of Bones' game is his ability to get his hands on a lot of loose balls and his dribble penetration. He showcased both today (and frankly last night as well at least in the first half)
Ty Lue did Frank Vogel (who might be an assistant coach on the Clippers staff next season) a real favor by taking Coffey out of the game for a big chunk of Q4 and then didn't run anything for him in the back part of Q4. Had Coffey stayed in the game for all of Q4, we would've won the game.
Brandon Boston Jr - I've said it down thread, but I thought he was horrible and disappointing. He was a shot chucker, didn't make many good plays, turned the ball over, took bad shots, and got a decent number of shots to go in. He wasn't playing NBA level basketball. This is his 3rd season in the league and I don't see much of a basketball IQ.
Kobe Brown - Looks like a NBA player. Showed an ability to attack off the dribble, track back on to drivers and contest without fouling, grab loose balls, and his stand up defense against Beal was eye catching, given that Beal cooked a lot of Clipper guards last night when Zu was not on the court. I do wish Ty had been giving him regular minutes during the season as I think he's would've definitely been capable of giving the team solid minutes in a post season setting.

I mean, I agree that he’s mostly a chucker, but tonight was not the night for organized offense, considering the team was openly trying to get Bones 40 in the 4th.

Boston is terrible. Been in the league 3 seasons now and doesn’t understand a thing about how to play NBA level basketball. He’s the reason the Suns won the game.

This has been an enjoyable game to watch but Brandon Boston Jr has been terrible. I don’t know what game he’s playing, but it’s not professional basketball. He’s just a shot chucker. Yeah, some of ’em go in, but he has no clue how to execute in the half court.
