Frustrating 2nd quarter. I would like to see Bledsoe bring the ball up, and Reggie play more 2 guard. We look so indecisive in some possessions. T-Mann has to be more aggressive.

The word “protection” needs defining in your post. Haven’t seen the studies but most experts are saying that even tho vaxx won’t prevent O infection, it will prevent severe illness/hospitalization. On the flip side, most say that O is a far less debilitating illness than delta.

Studies out of Hong Kong and Glasgow show that two doses offer ZERO protection from Omicron and a third dose only offers 37%. How many of these guys do we believe have been triple vaxed? This is going to burn through the league in epic proportions and although it is mild like a bad cold or flu the optics will be such that we may be looking at another pause to the season. What a mess.

In addition to the risk of infection, severity of infection would be a real thing. Lots of guys are “getting it” but testing out in under 10 days, and most are either asymptomatic or mild enough to return after 10 days. I don’t think anyone in the NBA has really had a prolonged absence this year, maybe a few days past the 10 due to reconditioning but that’s it. I suspect we’d not only have more infections without a high vaccination rate, but more serious infections as well.
