Accurate. Not going to (part of) the bench waaaaay earlier after what he saw in the first half and the 3rd quarter makes me question Lue’s eyesight. Lacked contributors, shooting/spacing, execution on both ends but rotations were more infuriating than anything

Curious what Russ does. Wouldn’t mind the Clippers as a fit. Love Sacramento (and they do have the money to improve the roster). Would love Miami with regards to their culture fitting like a glove but they got Lowry and lack the cap space. Could very well come down to Clippers, Kings or a surprise team.

Would have been one if either Ty, Russ, Bones or EG did better. Whatever, better team advances. Deserved one more game but gotta congratulate them. Booker was incredible, KD his usual greatness, CP3 had his moments, Ayton outplayed Zu and guys like Craig were steadier than most of our guys. Coaching battle clearly goes to Monty, apart from game 1.

I agree with much of this. I think we needed to play T-Mann, Roco, Coffey and Luke/Bones more minutes from the beginning of the season. I think it would’ve preserved PG better and Morris might’ve still been serviceable.

I just don’t see the Suns doing very much against a healthy and athletic Nuggets team. The Nuggets can shoot too and they have the bodies to throw at Booker.

Marcus Morris was a -15 & Eric Gordon was a -14 tonight. Morris played 24 minutes before Terance Mann had even played 12. By the time T-Mann got in for his second shift the 9 pt lead he helped build had fallen to around -15. With T-Mann on the floor, we got this lead down to 2 points with 2 min to go before we made a few errors to lose the game.

That right there captures the issues this season. It’s not all or even mostly about KL/PG health. It really is about how the rest of the roster has been managed. To me, Ty Lue has to get on the same page with management. Management also has to stop indulging Ty, PG, Kawhi on roster moves.

Plumlee and Norm looked like the Joker and Murray out there. Uh oh. The Suns are going to have to face the real version of that in the next round. They continue to look soft both mentally and physically so they’d best grow a pair before the next round.

Personally, I think it starts with picking Wall over I-Hart.
That’s the most puzzling move to me.
Then, we don’t play RoCo, Coffey and Luke who eventually be traded.
Off the court, I think Wall is a great person, so does Westbrook.
But if you want to surround Kawhi & PG, all you need to do is find long & rangy wings who can pass, defend, shoot and play them.
Those 3 guys I mention above, along with T-Mann & Boston, match these criteria. Having tall playmaking PG like Preston and switchable big like Moose doesn’t hurt either.
I want us to rest Kawhi & PG before they are fully ready to play.
The question is, can we play these young guys for like half the season and then decide to adjust the roster/rotation when we see how things work?
Lots of stuffs to do and lots of things to change.
It’s gonna be a long offseason.

Yeah, I think either Lue gets on the same page with the F.O. he parts ways. Today was just a glaring microcosm and encapsulation of everything we’ve seen this season.
