I wouldn’t say the bleeding has stopped because of this win, but it’s still better than a loss. The defensive effort tonight was so bad it was actually funny.

Win or lose, this game has got to be a wake up call. It should not be this close in the 4th quarter. You want to rest? Play defense, build an offense that doesn’t rely on a playmaking PG, and blow teams out in the 1st half. You’ll get plenty of rest.

Well yea, it’s obviously related to Zu not being much of a scorer. But it might also have something to do w/ the fact that our “PF” only takes contested mid-range shots and 3s, Kawhi and PG13 take a ton of jumpers too, and Norm, Mann, and Wall are the only dudes on the team who actually try to drive the ball into the paint.

Hate to say it, but PG is a primadonna (a person with an inflated view of their own talent or importance) who wants/needs to handle the ball a lot (including bringing it up court). That’s really got to stop or we’re gonna be cooked. PGs strength is driving/shooting — he’s no magic Johnson so guards need to spoon feed him.
