I agree PG has to reduce his turnovers. I am all for being aggressive but stupid turnovers and dribbling into double and triple teams is not smart nor is that dumb one handed sling pass that always get intercepted. Play smarter PG you can be that guy if you do!

Message to PG on turnovers:
–This isn’t college. It’s the pros where highly hungry players with great hands will converge and take the effing ball away from you when you over dribble
–FYI, Einstein’s insanity defiintion applies directly to you: “Doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” You seem to think that just rinsing and repeaing the same dumbass moves will get a different result. Not true. Doc Rivers game plan no doubt called for stripping the ball from you.
–Just because ur a great ass shooter does not mean you get to play dumbass b ball.
–At least admit that your TOs cost the team that game.

Message to Rondo:
When ur in the game with PG, you must INSIST that you bring the ball up. You have to save the team from PGs TOs. In fact, the team will give you bonus $$ if PGs TOs are drastically reduced.

Mann was good, at one point somehow getting a rebound while surrounded by a crowd of Sixers. Kennard wasn’t the same confident player he’s been for quite a while, passing up several open looks for three.

Question: The Clippers have Reggie Jackson’s early bird rights, thus what kind of deal can they offer him in 2021 free agency?–i get the feeling that the Clippers will ship out Beverly’s expiring contract in a future trade and have Jackson who happens to be Paul George’s best friend as the Clippers starting point guard next season.

The Clippers could be primed to keep this team in tact long term:

Reggie Jackson: Early Bird Rights
Nic Batum: Tax Payer MLE
Serge Ibaka: Non-Bird Rights of the MLE

If this team wins, i doubt Steve Ballmer cares about the luxury Tax…

Does any one know what the actual range of money that the clippers can possibly offer in these types of deals?

Didn't watch the full game, just condensed, but we clearly gave it a fight. Unfortunately without a happy ending. The box score suggests that the outcome might have been different if not one of the following:

too many turnovers
too many missed free throws
too little of Kennard and Mann

Good to see us remain competitive no matter who is available, but it would be nice to put together a few games at full strenght (or close to it) to work with the playoffs rotations a little more.

The good thing is that event without key starters, this was a winnable game. The bad thing is that they lost. 19 turnovers is a problem. 7 by PG is too many. Though admittedly, I don’t know how many of those resulted in Sixer points….

The team fought hard despite the lack of personnel tonight, and it was great to see. Zu had a rough game, but he was going up against an MVP candidate who presents a matchup problem for everyone, and I’m actually glad Lue rolled w/ 2Pat over Zu because 2Pat was a flamethrower tonight – it’s refreshing to have a coach adjust based on the in-game situation rather than stubbornly stick to a plan that isn’t working. Speaking of which, man, was I hoping to be on the other end of a Doc-led team meltdown. Ah well, onto the next one, fellow Clips fans.

In answer to the rhetorical question, I think that we might have the edge. Primarily because of the presumed availability of Kawhi. I think that at this point Bev and Serge are somewhat beside the point. They haven’t been part of the recent development of this team’s identity, though having them return would be handy. In my opinion the team is good to go for the playoffs as is. This compressed schedule is a killer, so let’s not sweat getting the first or second seed and instead emphasize health.
