Bogi is questionable tonight per the IR report. DJJ is out with knee soreness. It looks like he may have avoided a serious injury (which is incredible if you saw how Jaylen Brown side swiped his knee from behind).

Without Bogi, it’s going to be tough to win this game because we desperately need the secondary ball handler. Hoping he can find his way on to the court because it will also put him in good standing with Lue, as Bogi should be starting at the #2 when Kawhi gets back.

Without Bogi, however, I think CP3 and the young guns (Sanders, Kobe Brown, YCN) should get real minutes tonight. CP3 is capable of helping us win this game. (Wish we had Jordan Miller tonight. He was apparently averaging 6 drives per game before yesterday, which is pretty remarkable).

I really liked the effort of the team yesterday even though we lost.

To start winning games, however, LAC has to address 3pt defense and defensive rebounding. We’re among the 10 worst in the league at 3PAs allowed and 3pt%. We’re also among the worst and defensive rebounding rate. John Collins got some offensive rhythm back vs Boston, but the team needs him at 10 total rebs + loose balls won or higher. Over the last 5 games we have improved in opponent points scored off TOs. We’ve moved from last overall (#30) to #20 over the last 5 games.

Truely the best way to look at this rapidly declining season. We have to develop our young talent. See the enterprise vision — not the trees.

Let’s say Ty starts vets, so it’s gonna be like: Harden/Dunn/Bogi/Collins/Zu.
Then we have Sanders/Cam/Brown/Batum/Brook.
Or you can switch Sanders’ place with Bogi.
I guess you can’t see these line up since the opening date.

This might become a lost season to some if we entirely miss the playoffs and give those lottery to OKC. To be honest, I just don’t care.
But if we have to play those young guys real minutes and they can find their places in the league.
This will all worth it for years to come.

It’s not gonna be easy, just keep the faith and let’s see how it goes.
