I guess it depends if it would’ve been Trez or Zu going out in the deal, but he would’ve definitely been the best all-around C on the roster. I feel like his defense at least would rival Zu, but would give up some size. Meanwhile, I think his offense would be a nice boost for the Clips. I think you’d still want him inside mostly, but that ability to pop out to open up the floor, even from just the midrange area, would be a very nice addition.

As always – continue to be smart enough to look at today and not worry about tomorrow (or the ASG break).

Ben Simmons – out.
Joel Embiid – out
Al Horford – I know it’s got a lot to do with fit, but his contract is looking like one of the worst this season on the value side. Redeemable at playoff time.

That leaves PG and Kawhi to defend Tobias Harris, and a healthy Pat Bev for Josh Richardson. Being a blog site paper coach – all the matchups cards are heavily tilted to the at home LACs.

Thought about going but ticket prices were holding high despite the 76ers injuries.

Regardless, our age concerns w/ Horford were always valid, and today (and really, all of the Sixers’ games w/o Embiid and Simmons) will be a good opportunity to see if his contract turns completely untradeable.
