A fully healthy Lakers with LBJ, AD and now Drummond presents a very brutal front court, but the key for that team to win really was Rondo. I like Schroeder, but Rondo is much more proven — grateful that we have him vs. Lou (I still appreciate Lou Will). The key is how PG13 and our role players (Zubac, Luke, Mann, esp.) are going to perform under the pressure of the Playoffs. I’m not holding my breath for Bev and Ibaka — they both have to show that they can stay healthy for a few weeks. If we can stay healthy, we have a shot.

Morris gets only appreciation from me. He played Embiid tough. I liked how Lue had Morris take the last shot whether or not he was the first or second option. He’s a bad man, probably the baddest dude on the Clippers, and steady under fire. Just didn’t knock it down this time.

Oh of course we shouldn’t give up on him. Dude got outclassed by the most dominant C in the game right now – there’s no shame in that. Hope he watches some film and realizes what he needs to work on (e.g. unnecessary fouls).

Suns have 4 B2Bs so will be interesting to see how they rest CP. I’m glad he’s discovered the fountain of youth but they can’t possible believe he will make intact through this brutal stretch.

Thanks for sitting Gobert Utah:-( Nevertheless, the Lakers defense is awesome. What’s crazy is the Suns are now tied with the Jazz in the loss column. But the suns have that 7 game death march coming up and the Jazz have the easiest remaining schedule in the league. We can still catch Phoenix if we want to but I’m having second thoughts about pushing for that after all these injuries happening knock on wood.

Wouldn’t mind facing the Lakers in the first round. Our “Magnificent Seven” of Kawhi, PG, Mook, Nic, and Mann Doubling Lebron relentlessly with two of the greatest Pick-pocket thieves in Bev and Rondo would terrorize him. AD is not Tim Duncan and cant captain the ship as a closer. It’s going to be interesting watching both teams try to target or avoid each other in the first round. Can’t wait.

I know Morris gets a lot hate from Flom and others but I was impressed with his physicality against Embid. Morris brings toughness to this team and that toughness has value.

I don’t understand the boogie hate? His 5+ minutes did not hurt the team in any way. He showed on pick and rolls. Had a steal, no turnovers. He did have a shot attempt blocked but Embid had 2 so those things happen. I understand that he would be exploited in PnR if it was against the starters but this did not occur with 2nd team minutes. I do believe that he will display and have a positive impact on the team as he understands what is needed from him.
