I think there’s too much focus on an all or nothing scenario in terms of when guys can come back. For example, if PG were to come back second week of March as advertised then adding him alone to this team makes us all the more deadly. Norm has demonstrated that he can step right in and be productive so even if he’s not available until the play-offs that’s all good with me. As mentioned before I think this team with even just those two guys could take out the Warriors or Suns with our size, defense and depth. If we were to pull the upset THEN at that point a Kawhi return probably becomes a serious conversation. So late April/early May we could be at full strength. Obviously we’ll know more next Thursday.

The telecast last night showed clips of Luke warming up for the 3-pt contest in practice by running through practice rounds, taking shot after shot from the ball-carts. Mentioned he had never done something like that before.

Would be awesome if he just stumbled upon a new way to unlock his shot for games.

His release + form make it look like every attempt of his is going in, but last night was on another level. Every attempt looked perfect.

Big 3 coming back or not, can’t wait to watch every remaining game.

And Beverley last night was just incredible.

Here’s some speculation for you:
Let’s say the clips, now facing a fairly doable final schedule, continue to roll and gel with what they have. Then, say, the team gets back all 3 guys currently sidelined with about 10 games to play. What, pray tell, would that do to the team’s chemistry (assuming they continue to roll)? If Ty simply inserts the three, some of the key contributors may not see any minutes at all. How would they feel about that? It would truly give Ty Lue his biggest challenge yet to keep everybody happy. I know Ty’s M.O. is to play the guys who are doing well, but some guys may just get left out in this scenario.

Now that we have the AS pause, I suspect some of us will hunger for content. So what do we have to chew on now? For starters:
1) Buy out possibles 2) “Cancun” reports/sightings and
3) Health status on our three coveted guys. Here’s hoping our writers don’t check out like the team but if you do, hope you all fare well in Vegas.

Good Reggie is fantastic. He seems to be Good Reggie most of the time. When he turns into Insane Clutch Reggie late in games, wow.
