Gordon is that X-Factor that Denver needed to get over the top.
Will Theis, Bones or T. Mann be that X-Factor?

Will Coach give a rookie a chance at meaningful rotation minutes. I’m not holding my breath, but Kobe Brown’s three point shooting does stretch the floor for us. Wish that KB would see 5-10 min. per game.

As long as we take care of our business and develop good habits we can beat anyone in a 7 game series. It’s starts with the fundamentals and being sound. Yes, we do need height to combat teams with size because relying on constantly hitting our 3’s is a crapshoot at best. Heart is another matter only Russ & Kawhi are down the rest are followers. I understand that Ty Lue is in his experimental bag right now and as long as he’s in spots 1-4 he’s good. He’s only looking for small sample sizes of productivity against larger teams. He’s not going to go beyond base defensive concepts for fear of giving something away. He’s aware of the schedule and knows how many he has to win to stay on point.

Clipper Nation owes Scott Foster a hat tip. Gobert showed him up after a foul late in Q4 where Gobert used a hand gesture to imply Scott Foster was paid off, and from that point forward Foster hosed the Wolves on every possession in OT. Cleveland beats Minnesota. Clips gain a half a game on the Wolves and 1 game in the loss column. Miami Heat did us no favors tonight.

Looks like KAT is going the trimming route, but I believe you’re right. Fewer guys are doing that because it’s not favorable long term. The Wolves have never been this good, so they’re going all in.

He just didn’t know the rule, he’s young, I saw him find out on camera from a player and say, ‘I didn’t know.’ We won so no big deal, but the refs need to call that, they are not coaches teaching players rules they should know.

You’re probably right re not playing him but as currently constructed we don’t have any tandem of two bigs that can we play together. We either need a stretch four next to Zu or another long and athletic guy to help him on the glass situationally. How many times did Gordon fly from out of no where and save the Nuggets tonight? Maybe Theis starts knocking down threes and the remedy is in-house already IDK.

I actually don’t think Boston has any less talent than Denver – Boston is stacked this year. The difference imo is Jokic is completely unflappable whereas Tatum and Brown are less consistent, and Mike Malone is a much better coach than Joe Mazzulla.

Just watched Boston v Denver. Great game. Not impressed by Boston. Just a lot of chuck n’ duck 3s in the half court which paled in comparison to Jokic with his skillful and even graceful bully ball and court vision getting open look after open look for Denver. Despite Jokic’s greatness, the rest of the Denver team didn’t generate enough points to truly reflect how well they dominated Boston. I do think that Denver supporting cast isn’t quite as good as last year’s edition.

I came away thinking the Clippers with a fully healthy Zubac, and a solid backup duo of Plumlee/Theis match up better vs both Denver and Boston. It’s all about playing with some pace, using gravity to move the ball and getting quality touches and shots without compromising the defense. We have what it takes to get through 4 rounds of playoffs. Just hope Lue figures it out.
