Agree on all of these. I seriously feared Kawhi was disintegrating into a shell of himself over the last 1.5 seasons but clearly he has returned to form and perhaps the best he’s ever been right now. We all get caught up in stats and analytics but at the end of the day it’s still a sport and the best athletes prevail. There’s no better combo of skill, experience and athleticism in the league than Kawhi right now. He looks like Lawrence Taylor and Mike Tyson out there. Unlike last years team we have a stable and durable foundation for him to lead and he might just bludgeon the shit out of everyone In his path. Let’s keep an eye on Boogie too. If it turns out he’s still got it then lights out including the Lakers. I just have a good feeling about Boogie. Don’t know exactly why but maybe it’s that our wing depth liberates whatever bells and whistles he still has left in the tank. .

Drummond is definitely better than Boogie right now but I’m glad the Clippers did not offer him their starting job.

Drummond scored 20 with 11 boards in tonight’s Lakers’ beatdown of the almighty godly powerhouse Nets, who looked terrible. I know that the Clippers reportedly met with Andre before signing Boogie to the first 10-day deal. Just wondering if the Clippers missed out on a better backup option at center. Hopefully Boogie will come through in his role. I think he was a good signing.

There's no reason to not let the 10-day (and potentially a 2nd) run its course, but yeah I think he probably ends up sticking the rest of the way. Kinda like Noah last season, he might not have a ton to offer but it's an emergency role for a few weeks, you can't get overly picky.

With Ibaka’s back injury, just seems prudent to sign Boogie for the rest of the season.
