Maybe Terance is emerging as a third star. The Powell signing seemed a great move on its face but he’s been inconsistent. I think much of that owes to Lue not figuring out how to integrate and manage all the pieces he’s been given. Now I want to keep Powell while dumping Wall who, while having shown promising flashes of his former self, much of the time has been outright destructive.

Coffey looked a bit rusty today but he’s a solid player who will find his groove with more regular playing time. I think also Boston Jr can provide the offense that the FO thinks it can get from Wall for short stretches.

It should by Mann, Kawhi, PG, Morris and Zu.

Batum and Reggie first off the bench, then Norm, Luke and Roco.

Quit messing around and lock some rotations down(assuming PG and Luke get healthy).

Ty has to just play Mann 30 plus a game. It’s shouldn’t be by feel anymore. He’s one of our guys, and should be.

Terance Mann carrying the 2nd scorer load is a big development for the Clippers. Clips have been looking for their 3rd best player, and Mann is demonstrating that he can handle that role despite being yo-yo’ed in and out of the lineup. Covington played well again, which is also a good sign. Pretty happy with what Mann, Covington and Reggie gave the Clips today.

Reggie had a good second half stint to help the team win. He chased guys off the 3 pt line, fought through screens and got good shot attempts for Powell and Covington while making 2 baskets, 3 assists, a steal, a rebound. He did have 3 turnovers, but he made a net overall positive impact. Rockets were only 1 for 6 or so from the 3pt line during his stint, and the Clips took a tied game and broke it open. His effort is a big reason why the defense looked a lot better in the 2nd half and why the offensive execution was much better.

1st half was a little rough, but that defense turned up and that was all she wrote. Rockets aren’t a great litmus test, but it was really nice to get a run away win. Go Clips!
