Watching Lou’s Hawks beat RW tonite–Lou looked pretty spry out there but what caught my eye was how loose and happy he looked on the bench cheering on the team and feeling very much at home. Clips did him a solid. ATLs a solid team and Nate McMillan is sneaky top tier.

Honestly have no idea actual stats of had more turnovers between pg13 and rondo
We all know pg13 been throwing the ball to row 4 in the stands since the bubble, imo rondos passes seem to help get buckets way more then PG13’s
(Just my eye test) I mean rondo seems to look at where he’s passing more(he does do no look passes sometimes) where PG13’s turnovers he seems like he not looking as much because they look way more careless imo
Almost like pg13 thinks he’s such a good passer he doesn’t have to pay attention. Or do better with his turnovers ?
I think ty is definitly saying it for everyone but for me PG13’s are what frustrates me the most about him ,
In order of what frustrates me with pg13
1. Lazy ass passes
2. Not attacking the basket (drive and kick) he’s doing a lot better with this now
3. Jacking up bad” shots instead of ball movement or taking what the defense gives him in certain situations.

To fix PG13’s issues?
I think he just needs to be way more cautious and conscious of the issue .
I think we all would rather any player on the team jack up a bad shot with defenders all over them instead of the throwing the ball away for nothing and not even getting a shot attempt!
Alotta the turnovers don’t even look like the defense is really pressuring us that bad either
There just the worst kinda turnovers, should be an easier fix!
But also we got to understand the style of ball movement we do prolly has a higher percentage of turnover compared to iso ball or other offenses.

A good game TO-wise for PG13 is if he only has 1 of those one-handed off-the-dribble passes into traffic or launched into the stands.

I think PG13 has good court vision, because a lot of those errant passes are actually in situations w/ openings, but his actual ability to make the pass isn’t there. PG13 is trying to make passes that prime Steve Nash could make, but 99% of NBA guys can’t.

Very true. No luxury there. Bev’s injuries put him behind the 8 ball so he has no standing to complain or demand the starting role. Just like Serge.

Very true. Lakes are formidable with very scrappy D. They’re the type of team that would salivate all over PG13’s TOs. Should be tank to avoid them?

Agree GRap. But have another ? fo you. Short of not playing PG13 (never gonna happen) how to you make him stop throwing the ball away? I read KLs comments on the TO problem saying they were looking “nasty” and T Lue saying the teams needs to be “more professional,” and I think that both comments were directed to PG13. But I think it’s too late in the day to change the guy’s stripes. He is what he is.

Agree with you on Mann. This kid just has “it”. Really hoping that he gets a chance to play meaningful minutes in the playoffs. I also think Kennard should get a little run. If he’s hot, keep him out there, if not, pull him quick.Tough life!

Yeah, I watched most of the 4th and OT. Damn it, the Lakers are going to be a tough out. I actually thought that the game was called fairly even, given it was a Laker home game. I usually believe officiating is weighted in the Lakers favor.

I also think Lakers will be the team to beat. My $.02. Their advantage is heavily dependent on getting 2nd chance points. You limit those in the 5 – 8 range and the Clips more than likely are going to win. Lakers have the mindset, culture and ability to get 12 – 15 offensive boards every game. I noticed that on the free throws they crash extremely hard. I usually don’t advocate non-basketball “stuff”, but Clips would be well served by boxing out with sharp elbows to stop guys like Kuzma/Mathews from going unimpeded for offensive boards.

Yeah we were up already at that point so I think rondo just trying different stuff before the postseason which is good.
Yes that pass is one most coaches and people don’t want to see, but what about the rondo-Zu game that was in affect last night?? I was shocked how good those two made each other look good and made things look really EASY!
If rondo can make threes like last night and throw on the dime passes like that, he definitly needs to be considered to start situationally and be a closer.
That Zu rondo game was sick!
Maybe cuz it was against raptors 2nd and third stringers that it looked so good, but if we can execute that a ton and the whole team gets involved
I wouldn mind trying kick the lakers ass in round 1
