The early lead of the game was built on team / help defense (leading to transition points), something Roco excels in. However, he continues to be benched ??

Whenever Wall takes to the floor my hope is for him to not do turnovers, which has been an agonizing constant which is hurting the team game after game.

I would love to have Mann do the point, with either PG and KL. Reggie excels as spot up shooter, so utilize him as such, not as off the bounce shooter. Good things happen also when he drives and do floaters. He needs to stick to his strong points to play team ball and not force other ways of scoring since his other teammates have their offensive talents.

Feels like everyone is done with Pat already. Has he been that bad? I mean his shooting numbers are bad, but that’s not really what you need from Pat. Has he been that bad defensively too?

I really feel like a trade for Pat could be beneficial for both sides. Mook has value to the Clippers, but I still can’t help but feel like RoCo if given the opportunity would provide similar catch and shoot ability with better defense. Morris doesn’t hold a lot of value for a lot teams throughout the league in the trade, but I think his shooting would be a solid addition to the Lakers where they’re really lacking shooting. Bryant maybe has been too good for the Lakers in his return for them to let him go that easily. Maybe if Bryant comes back down to earth, or Damian Jones, who has been a solid backup in the past would be a more fair trade.

I feel like Wall “could” do the same if he wanted, but it’s just not consistent enough, and I agree, as of late it’s been too much focus on jumpers. Only 20% of his shots are coming at the rim, the lowest of his career. If it means only playing like 10 minutes a game, but more effort on getting to the basket and pushing in transition, maybe he can still prove to have value. But the way he’s playing now, he’s probably better off out of the rotation.

I get he’s still on a minutes limit due to injury recover/conditioning, so maybe we haven’t seen the best John Wall yet, but I feel like the probability of suddenly turning into a positive impact on the team in the 2nd half of the season is pretty low.
