We try to find capable PF for a while. Collins might be the answer for our search.
I really like Dunn’s plays. He dove on the floor to tab a ball to Kawhi. Dude can do anything to help make good things happen.
We all have some flaws. It’s just refreshing to see we fight to the end to make things work.

This team was at one point 15 games under .500 – they shouldn’t be looking down at anyone for the rest of this season. Especially not a young, scrappy, athletic team (re: the type that could give Harden/Kawhi trouble).

I’m happy to see him playing well, but that’s extremely dampened enthusiasm considering how the season has gone. Plus he’s an unrestricted free agent next summer and I don’t anticipate the Clips will keep him.

That was surprising. They won. The Pistons attempted to emulate the Celtics, but were unable to sustain the pressure defense. Harden is nearly useless against long, athletic pressure defenders. He falls into the same traps over and over again. Everything stops when he gets doubled on the sidelines. This results in mostly bad passes and bad decisions. I believe it’s an age thing.

Regarding Leonard, I take back everything that I previously wrote about him. This is the best he has played for the Clippers. He’s become the leader.

Kudos to Collins. He is everything and more than I hoped for.

Zu should see the ball more.

Lopez is playing better, however. I have no faith in his 3’s. It seems that if he hits the 1st, he’ll have a good shooting game. If he misses the 1st shot, it will be brutal.

Sanders is fine. I think he may have had an emotional letdown after his high 20-point game. It’s a good learning lesson.

Jordan Miller has a weird, effective game.

Against athletic teams, I would like to see more of Yanik.

I don’t think Bogi, at this stage, is much of an impact player. Weak handle, injury prone/brittle — he can get hot sure but nothing to write home about. Jones is a different story — better than the best version of TMann. He can legit help.

Collins has really turned the corner, tho. Fun to watch that guy—really nice corner 3 ball; sets his feat, xlnt release, no hesitation. And that’s just the O — plenty more to like on D as well.

Totally agree. Kawhi, Collins, Zu and Dunn are all plus defenders while old/slow Harden at least as height and bulk to throw at people + he’s smart. I mean, when uve dug yourself a hole, D is the way out because you can easily turn good D into easy O. The guys know it, Nice to see. And off the bench, u gotta give some credit to Brook’s D. Long arms, good anticipation, knows where to be, doesn’t really get faked out. Like him as a rim protector. And while the young guys mite get schooled now and then, they leave it on the floor. D is the way back to respectability.

And next up is the Hornets who just beat down Utah and with a recent W at OKC. The Utah win was super impressive---lots of guys with xlnt games. Scored 150 pts. They still have a fair shot at the play-in so they'll be ready to battle. Based on recency, overlooking them would be suicide.
