Sure it goes beyond, but as the games tick off, there are fewer and fewer left and so harder for a team to move up or down. These next 2, IMO, wil be key. BTW, Kawhi was moved from out to doubtful for tonite–a step in the right direction.

There are two real questions here:

Assumng guys continue to be out and that we lose the next two (on the road vs. tough condenders who want these games), how far can we actually drop in the standings.
Assuming a drop, how far, if any, do we WANT to drop in the standings.

The team can't help but watch the Lake show and where they likely end up. Right now, they look like they could either stay at 5 or drop to six. Could go either way. If six, then the team may well angle for the 4th spot. I could see us hitting 4th after the next two. LBJ, they say, is pointing for return next week. Very interesting stuff.

Really need to move the three-point line farther out as has been suggested by many. I’d suggest quite a bit farther. These current players have all honed their long-range shooting on AAU all-star teams. And maybe limit the number of threes allowed per game, which would add an interesting wrinkle, or add a super-long four-point shot. Among other suggestions bandied about.
