My best guess is that the front office and coach have collectively prioritized health leading up to the playoffs rather than seeding. Fans are prone to panic as evidenced by many of these comments. We have no actual knowledge of the real health/injury situation, unlike in MLB and NFL where teams must place players on disabled/injured reserved lists. Still, as a nervous fan of an NBA team, I have no idea why young buck and sharpshooter Kennard was rested (if it was actually for rest and not some minor injury). We remain in prime position for the second and conceivably first seed. We’re on the outside looking in. But this is a very good team with as good a chance at the title as any other, in my opinion.

I was really hoping that the Houston game was the clunker. Yea the Clips won, but nobody who watched (and certainly not the players) should’ve felt good about that game. Was hoping that wakeup call and the 2 days off would help keep them sharp, but that obviously didn’t happen tonight.

I call it like I see it. We had to have this win. Absolutely had to have it. And instead they got embarrassed and PG switched into playoff mode. Going from the possibility of an easy first-round series against a team like Memphis or the Spurs to almost certainly facing playoff LeBron right away is a disaster.
