Yeah – I thought he used to be a great passer. I remember him on the wizards consistently racking up 10+ assists per game. To me, he looks like he hates his teammates when he plays. Outside of him playing a lot of (nice looking) iso, he always seems so angry, even when we aren’t losing.

I’d be more ok w/ this level of uninspired play during the regular season if the Clips were say defending champs. Like I fully expect the Warriors to get their shit together because they have the track record showing they will. We have one bubble choke job, one (glorious, but still) WCF appearance, and one season of straight missing the playoffs mostly due to injuries – those results don’t reassure me much.

I think part of what irritates me when PG13 is playing poorly is just kind of the natural, unavoidable result of his play style. Dude has always had a smooth game that looks effortless, so when things are going wrong (which is an understatement lately) it still looks like he isn’t trying, which adds frustration on top of the already depressing feeling of the Clips losing.

Last year PG13 came outta the gates looking like an MVP candidate only to wear down and disappear halfway through the season – hopefully this year is just the complete opposite of that experience, because otherwise we’re completely screwed.

For right now Reggie for sure. He’s been struggling mightily and supposedly still dealing w/ a groin injury – having him gut through it and play is lose-lose for us right now.

I agree with a lot of this, but the Clippers are facing a rotation minutes crunch even without Kawhi.

If you want to play Coffey and Mann for athleticism, size, and defense, who aren’t you playing? Reggie? Nico? Norm? I can see arguments for any and all of them, but it’s a tough spot to be in
