I’m being sarcastic. I was spraying doubt all over this site. 4 games ahead of the Pels feels like a light year beyond Nawlins now but prior to PG13’s resurrection whilst in the throes of a 5 game losing streak…well…let’s just say it looked like we were going to lose more than we have. By the 7th game the Bucks would have bailed us out by testing their second stringers against ours as we witnessed in this timeline, so World B. We’s 10 game loss streak was never possible, but oeee this race to the 8th would be a whole lot closer if the joy of PG13’s return didn’t revitalize the team. Low expectations, pleasant surprises. PG13’s return is one of the most pleasant sports surprises I’ve had the honor of witnessing. What isn’t surprising to me but almost as satisfying, the Lakers are toast.

It’s tough, I used to feel like he should be playing center, because of his height and unreliable jump shot. Just always felt to me they’re best off with him at center.

Still probably true, just I don’t think his body can take it. I feel like he felt pressure to play more center and probably agreed that he would play more center this year. Because of that he bulked up a lot, but just his body couldn’t handle it.

Will definitely be curious how his body and injuries affect him moving forward. He’s already 29, which isn’t an age where guys suddenly get healthier or more athletic. I mean Clips traded Blake Griffin at 28, and it was clear his athletic days were well behind him. If AD is an injury prone jump shooter the rest of his career, then his best days might be behind him.

AD, while brilliant, is damaged goods and the Lakers and Lakers fans and everyone in the league know it. The Clippers won’t go near him.

There’s a chance the Lakes shop AD this off season. Hope a hope that the clips aren’t even tempted. Take a look at the body types of Jokic and AD. Both super tall but Jokic is built with so much more proportion, solid tree trunk legs. AD, OTOH, is just so spindly and unbalanced looking. I know they won a chip but I wouldn’t take a chance on that guy right about now.

I think this Clippers team is capable of ridiculous things, like going deep into the playoffs without superstar Kawhi. We’ll see (get Powell back!). In any case, it will be fun however long it lasts.
