Between Utah’s substantial lead, them having the tiebreaker over us, and them having the easiest remaining schedule in the NBA… it’s an extreme, extreme long shot. I think at this point the 2 seed is very realistic and the 1 seed, while mathematically possible, is a pipe dream. All you can do is keep winning and hope for the best, but I need to see Utah drop several more games like the other night’s loss to the Kings before I start taking it seriously.

I honestly think we should be going for the 1-seed and a date with whoever wins between the Grizzlies and Warriors/Pelicans/Spurs.

If they can win games, they can control their destiny. There will be a real push for teams to get to 4/5/6 to avoid us (I think we can totally get to 2. Suns have a really tough remaining schedule). Lakers are in the driver’s seat for the 4.

I really hope this shooting continues in the playoffs. Hard to feel is completely sustainable as it’s incredible.

im honestly fine with this approach if it somehow leads to less injuries. Our shooting has made it so that we do not have to play as physical which is nice

Clippers game plan in the last several games: don’t play defense for 3 quarters but stay in the game with lights-out offense. Play championship-level defense in the 4th quarter while continuing to play lights-out offense. Win.

This is definitely a credit to Ty Lue. It’s basically the same team as last year, but with a different system and a coach who is willing to improvise.
