Exactly. In my opinion, probably neither PG nor Wiggins are really deserving of that spot. Would be pumped if PG made it, but wouldn’t complain if he got passed by someone that was legitimately more deserving. I just don’t feel like Wiggins is that guy either.

They put in the media and player’s vote so you don’t end up with guys like Jeremy Lin and Zaza Pachulia starting in the game, but not sure PG or Wiggins are quite that out of bounds. And given that in the fan vote after PG and Wiggins you have like AD, Draymond, Carmelo Anthony (lol), before you get to KAT, would it be weird if suddenly KAT (who is probably the most deserving) is starting after the media and player’s vote? Probably.

Let’s just hope the players and media still vote for PG due to legacy over Wiggins.

I’ve always followed the NFL but have never bothered to watch a Pro Bowl. Baseball all-star games in the past were intense. Pete Rose fracturing catcher Ray Fosse’s shoulder at home plate in 1970 comes to mind.

Is PG even deserving of playing in this year’s NBA all-star game? He’s been out so long. All-star games in American team sports have become nothing more than transparent money-making promotions to goose fan interest. I have little interest in all-star games these days. They were genuinely compelling in the past before fans were allowed to vote and skew the results.

I figure it has to be some confluence of Warriors fans and Canadian fans. Only reason I can justify him being over Draymond in the voting.

Will be interesting how the votes pan out. I mean at this point, I don’t see PG catching Wiggins. I’ve checked both hashtags on twitter and seems like Wiggins is still like doubling up PG daily. But in all honesty, not sure either are deserving, so how much will the players and media vote sway the final outcome?

I feel like the NBA put this “players and media” vote in so they can just keep out anyone who is obviously not deserving, but is their vote strong enough to elevate someone over PG and Wiggins? is there someone that really stands out above them? Draymond? KAT? Really feels like Wiggins is going to make the All-Star game at this point.

AC Clips is on a roll.
They play great as a team. They collect 54 Rebs (12 OREB) and get 7 blocks.
Scrubb looks like his JUCO days. That guy just dominate.
Keon still have too many turnovers (5 TOs) and doesn’t shoot with great efficiency (9-24 FG).
But this kids is so intense. He has 3 blocks, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.
He also leads the team in scoring with 26 points.
And King is always impressed every time I see him play. Darling is playing smart team ball and such a good shooter.
We have so many good wings.
