Also even if Kawhi can stay healthy he probably isn’t worth much to a contending team – like none of OKC, Boston, or Cleveland look like they even need him. The most appealing and movable piece we have is probably Harden, but if we trade him this house of cards completely collapses so we’d better be getting back some serious draft compensation (which we’re highly unlikely to get in return). Unfortunately I think we’re just stuck. If we reel off a long winning streak as the schedule softens up then I’ll obviously be happy, but I’m not gonna delude myself into hoping for anything more than a play-in spot or a 1st round exit.
