Seems like at this point the FO isn’t doing anything to shore up PF/backup C.

Looking at the schedule and seeing how we’re playing feels like the 5 seed is the absolute ceiling and that’s if everything breaks right, no injuries, etc.

God I hate the 213 era.

He hit a couple of 3s to justify staying on the court for a few extra minutes, but he’s not a #5 or a #4 against a quality opponent. He’s a bully ball #3 with limited offensive skill.

I disagree with you on Zu. He was a dominant player and gave us a chance to win. Made Jokic look more ordinary than I’ve seen before he made the big leap forward in the 2019-20 season. He was the best player on the floor in Q3.

The fact that it’s even a consideration as to whether we’re giving significant minutes to a 6’5″ 38 year old over a 7’1″ 26 year old at center is instructive as to just how “great” the 26 year old is. Zu is ok but he’s just ok. Seems a step behind everyone else out there. Still hasn’t won an opening tap and couldn’t get the jump ball at the end with a two inch height advantage over the Joker who can’t jump on a stamp.

But he’s not the main reason we’re struggling. I think Kawhi might be load managing himself during the games because he looked fairly listless again until the 4th quarter. Maybe both of them are ailing in some way and will perk up as the season goes on. Damn we are underwater in the loss column now though.

Harden and Westbrook missed 5 bunnies in the second half. They made great moves and got right to the rim and just blew the layups.

He had some good moments initially, but he got exposed/exploited after being left out there for too long. This was probably his best game, but it still wasn’t what I would call “good” – it was just a lot better than he previous outings.

Live well outside of LA. So relieved I’m not locked into a game this year. First year ever I might not see a game in person since 2004. Funny enough, if it gets to the point that the season is lost and our stars(?) are shelved I could see myself inspired to make the drive. Watching young players evolve is part of what attracted me to this franchise. Doc and now Lue = the smothered demise of any rookies hopes & dreams.
