We’ve had enough fun-to-watch clippers teams over the past decade though. I’m ready to just start winning this year. I’m the most optimistic I’ve ever been as a clipper fan. We’ve finally got a great coach, a ton of depth and (fingers crossed) a fully healthy roster. If John Wall can actually bring it all together and get some chemistry going, it’ll be the cherry on top.

But it looks like the team has straight up decided to just throw Batum out there as Zu’s backup, which….I disagree w/, but I’ve been wrong plenty of times before, so hopefully I’m wrong this time too.

There’s no one that really ever flirts with going for 50 or something crazy like that (other than RoCo last year against the Bucks) and we have been among the worst in the league in pace too. The latter might be the tipping point for why Wall gets the starting nod. Not only for practical purposes but for aesthetic ones too. If I’m TL I want to be exciting not boring. Will be pretty disappointing if they give the 15th spot to Moses when Howard and Whiteside are out there.
