Still not sold on giving Trez a huge payday. It’s not just the Bobi mismatch that was a problem, but his lack of rebounding, lack of an outside shot for spacing purposes, and lack of rim protection makes it hard for me to see spending too much on him. But I also get that letting him walk for nothing would be problematic, so best bet is to sign him and then potentially look for a mutually beneficial trade.

But yeah, signing Mook clearly needs to be our #1 priority in the offseason. That dude just bring so much to the team, toughness, grit, solid D, marksman like outside shooting, ability to create off the dribble when needed. He’s just a PERFECT fit with the team culture. Like a jumbo sized Pat Bev with more in his bag on offense. We just cannot let him get away.

JMG is solid role player and would like to keep him too but again it depends on the price tag.

But most guys have a hard time against a strong Goliath framed Boban.

In all fairness Trez is usually Trez against most opposing benches, bobi the one and only opposing bench player that has given Trez “trouble” think we over reacted to doggin on Trez during that Dallas series. Yes Trez is limited in a lot of things including rebounding and defense however I still think he’s a keeper because bobi is pretty much the only one who’s totally made Trez look god awful! Trez took a good charge almost got another one and we can rely on him when we got a good lead to keep the lead against most opposing benches/blow out players. Lou kinda scared me a bit with atleast 2 horrible horrible turnovers, one bad shot selection deep three. Marcus Morris has been huge imo for this team, HUGE(Flom) . He’s gotta be priority resign this offseason, love me some JMG As well to resign but I’m kinda leaning toward keeping Trez as second priority Obviously if we can bring JMG back as well no brainer, but worst comes to worst I think we get a vet min or two to kinda fill in for JMG “if” the clippers priorities are 1.morris 2,Trez Also Patterson on a min can also fill some voided JMG minutes if we lose him. I’m sure Lucas and the cap gurus of this site can give us some more info on what we can-can’t do in free agency with whatever the new covid cap might be. I’ll be estatic if we can bring both Morris and Trez back for sure! JMG lastly would Be a dream come true to help run it back next season. Great game tonight, really comfortable enjoyable game to watch. Clippers keep building leads for us!

Allright! Allright! Allright!

So, sticking with what working, Clips continue to be undefeated when I wait until after the game to post a comment on the game thread. Going to stick with this until we get that chip.

This was a fantastic all around game for the Clippers. The offense was crisp and fluid throughout the game. The defense was a little lax in the 1st quarter but from the end of the 1st quarter they tightened up looked great. Pretty close to a flawless showing and definitely looked the part of a championship contender.

It was so nice and unusual for us Clipper fans to have a game where there really was never any real fear or stress of losing. Other than a few moments in the 1st quarter Clips felt in control the whole way. I could really get used to seeing more games like this from the Clips. If they maintain this level of focus and effort, and most importantly stay healthy, hopefully Clips can make quick work of Denver. Jokic is tough but he’s no Luka thankfully.

Trez still looks to be shaking off the rust but definitely was not as much of a liability than what we saw vs. Mavs so that’s also a relief. And every other Clipper ranged from solid to spectacular tonight. The return of Pat Bev was really the X-factor that takes this team to a whole new level.

Fun win, now NO LET UP! Let’s make quick work of the Nuggs.
