So true. The Boston pick in my estimation could be one of the all time steals in draft history. I’m prone to hyperbole about our rooks (case in point Fi Kabs) but in all seriousness this Boston kid is off the charts gifted. On a level like Booker or perhaps better. He had an off year because he was 18 during Covid and so did all the GMs except us. We are lucky as fuck to have young Zu, Terrence and this kid given all the picks we gave up for PG. Keon will be an athlete in this league and like I said before could develop into a lance Stephenson fun but fringe talent. Meh. Doesn’t look like anyone else is too broken up over Preston being out and neither am I. Wish him well in 2024 when he might finally be hitting his stride. In the meantime we need to get serious about our third string point guard. Winslow will be a bust. Collision? IT?

Also, hearing rumblings of Lakers being interested in James Eniss. He’s from my hometown and I would love to see him in a Clippers jersey. Had him ranked above Justice Winslow on my free agent wishlist (man did that list get torn up) and he’s still available.

It reminds me of a video game where someone set their players attributes to maximum jumping power and NOTHING ELSE.
As our FO is oft to do it looks like we struck some gold with a second rounder so obscure that they were on the verge of being considered a possible two-way player in Boston jr. (read that somewhere on this site at some point. Don’t remember who or what thread)…yet our higher draft pick isn’t going to make much of blip. We’ll see. Wish all our players the utmost success and obviously it’s early. We’ve certainly made some glaring blunders in the recent past though. If we ever win a championship we did it despite of ourselves. Polar opposite of the Warriors dynasty that hit every move, major or fringe, out of the feking park

They’re more mobile and less injury prone, but that’s about it, maybe they will play better with pg13 mook Reggie etc? If they make the team and serge/Zu go out with injury foul trouble etc., hartenstein/Giles gonna be playing with our A/b squad not our c-d squad

Happy to have Clippers basketball back. Was surprised at George King’s accuracy beyond the arc. Disappointed with Coffey and Kennard.
Brandon Boston looks to be a steal of the draft.
