Wow, Thomas was really feeling it this game. Good for him. I know this game probably shouldn’t have been so close, but these guys are all in the NBA for a reason and Thomas could not miss and was hitting some really tough shots. My favorite part was when PG got snuffed by Claxton in the 4th and Nets were rolling. Game On!! Really good to see PG and rest of the team get fired up and they played with some passion that I don’t always see from the Clips. I thought this was a great game that most every other NBA team would of lost. Last game on a road trip, opposing team and crowd riled up. Good win Clips! Let’s ruin Kyrie’s debut on Wednesday.

They pulled it out — Zu looked great and completely engaged. Norm and KL had bad games and PG was pretty sloppy but hot at the right times. Long road trip — tired vets. Losing MM meant something — altho his D is tiresome. A bad win? I don’t think so. Being able to prevail with Cam Thomas en fuego es muy, muy bueno.

Obviously a concern, but also feels like the NBA is wide open this season, and the best chance and a chip would be with him this year.

Past this season, I don’t know. Ideally he’d sign like a 2 year extension if he got to LA. I think the reports were he wasn’t doing it for the Mavs, but seems like that wasn’t his preferred destination either. If not 2 year extension, maybe you let him weigh his options this summer and hope you can keep him for like a 4 year, $150M deal? Not sure many teams do better than that.

And if he forces his way out again, hopefully you get a pick back, just like the Nets got.
