He took the Zu bait. He took all the shots and his teammates watched. That’s not winning basketball. His ego will not allow him to sacrifice a bit. Keep playing Zu on him and have TMann chirping in his ear. Let him have his individual accolades and take the win home. He is the modern version of Wilt, World B. Free and Freeman Williams.

Would love to somehow shock the Warriors and make it 4-4–they haven’t played great lately–but I’m happy with 3-5. The schedule in the next 4 weeks is very friendly.

I love when our guys play their role, as good as they can.
We will fight every game and we can live with the result.
Go clips!

The Mann/Doncic rivalry is hilarious for some reason. Is there a bigger star that has beef with a role player like Mann? I mean Mann has come a long way from when their beef started as a rookie, but remains to be funny how much he gets under his skin. I hope Mann can bring this energy to his other matchups, because he clearly was being so much more aggressive in these past 2 games against the Mavs.

Clips played with urgency from the get go and thru out,  a very welcome change, win or lose. Taking it strong inside finishing or dishing out was pretty, with one on ones reserved for Morris.  Clips have more success when big govt takes drives instead of settling for jumpers.  He is very blessed with handles, usually a mismatch for defenders. Got a kick to see Luka's frustrated expressions instead of smiling and smiling, for a change. Nice game plan by Lue + Exploiting mismatches.   No Flagrant foul on Finney Smith on Mann (after refs' review, how dare ??) during end game made the win more fulfilling with Clips down with KL, PG and NP. Not much reasons to give away wins to the inferior teams hereon in as long as they give the same effort as this one.]]> Rebounds. If only.  Clips could have won more, season to date.
Having more teeth in consciously marking / bodying up instead of ball watching. Energy ! Physicality per Ty ! And making Ballmer 😃

Reggie solidified his case for a statue in front of the new arena in Inglewood. Morris, Zu, Coffey. Wonder what’s up with Nico. Luka is not of this world. I thought we were done for when he took that last three.

Now I can make peace w/ losing back to back games against the Warriors and Suns lol. Honestly though, the Warriors didn’t look that great against the Lakers – I know Curry and Klay have been great, but Draymond really is key to a lot of what they run.

This new, aggressive T. Mann is great to see, Reggie was fantastic, Zu played ridiculous defense on Luka for a good 2/3-3/4 of the night (before, in typical Luka fashion, he exploded in the 4th), and MM was hitting shots (though he and Batum’s rebounding leaves a lot to be desired – if Zu is doing his best to check Luka you can’t expect him to also clean up the boards). I think we should see more RoCo against the Warriors – we all know Zu has issues against hyper small lineups, and that applies to Hart as well.

Overall great, necessary win, and hopefully Norm is available for the next one.
