Who were we gonna trade Lou?
Lou and 2nds? Definitly not worth ariza who I still haven’t read is ready to play or even planning on playing. I’m sure he is otherwise Miami doesn’t make trade but Lou is worth more then most likely washed ariza.
And after tonight’s game though I’m ready to just cut Lou will ! Lol

Whelp, Meyers Leonard and a 2027 2nd rounder. So basically “contract fodder” and a far off 2nd is what it took. We’ll see if Ariza has anything left, but I’m glad he went east instead of re-joining the Lakers.

Stop it Goons. You know that it’s a brutal sport and any play could result in a career ending/limiting injury. Ergo the big money. However, I get your point about the locking in early to rest late strategy. But that strategy bucks v. human nature to slack off on D.

Not sure how the 2 way contracts would work but Coffey & Scrubb put you at 14.. This is where Patt’s contract becomes an issue

Indy would need to cut 2 guys to get to 15 though

Yeah on top of the blocks, the hesitation he’d cause would improve the defense overall.. The guys we have now don’t put any fear in anyone

As for Bev, you rarely see it cuz we rarely see him healthy enough to play!

So the Lou + Zu + Fi option I threw out there because salary wise it technically works, but (and please jump in here if I’m wrong about this, Lucas) I don’t think it actually works because Lou + Zu + Fi combined make $17M whereas Turner makes $17.5 – so the Clips would be taking on an additional $500K, when they’re currently only $539,505 under the hard cap. Meaning after trading away 3 guys and only bringing in 1, the Clips would have a roster of only 12, w/ $40K of space under the hard cap and 2 more roster spots to fill – which I assume means this transaction doesn’t work…

Bev can guard guys, but I rarely see him do what he did against KD in the playoffs , or LeBron on opening day last year. Turner can make any player think twice about entering the paint with his blocks , this goes for guards forwards and bigs . I’m not pushing this hard but I’d definitly do it. Maybe get hill for Lou or buyout hill.
