Mann’s on court intangibles elevated the team’s play/character. Liked the Rondo D on Luka second half of the game ; The small ball PNR between Rondo (screener) and Leonard was masterful – Mavs : to switch or not ??😂

It is up to TL in maximizing the players’ synergy at the specific points. Quite comforting is he rotates based on merit and game flow without favoring certain players at the expense of team success. If the Mavs have Hardaway, Finney-Smith, Brunson, the Clips have big govt Reggie, Mann, Rondo, Batum (the Handyman). Watch out when Sr reverts back to his normal self on his catch and shoot 3s going forward (which he showcased in this game). The Mavs role players shot 27-33% fewer points in the second half of game 3, compared to games 2 and 1. Looking good, hope this keeps up.

If Boban is nothing else, I always thought he should be used as a momentum changer. Game plans completely change when Boban is on the court. Sure he’s still slow footed and not a great defender just because of his lateral quickness, but in a game where Clippers seem intent on driving to the rim as much as possible, and the Mavs can’t hit anything inside the arc, I thought he could’ve been useful for a 5-6 minute stretch to see how he could shift the Clippers attack.
