i am so glad i am a clippers fan instead of a fan for some of these other teams. I personally feel like we are pretty reasonable as a general fanbase; like I go to the mavs blog, and all i see is complaining about the referring when its obvious to everyone that the call on tmann was an offensive foul.

back to backs are honestly a horrific part of the NBA, and I cant believe they value money so much that they still keep it in place

The same arguments can be made for the NFL, but they are adding games. Too much TV money at stake. Although if the injuries pile up and no more NBA stars, we’re all going to suffer. The back to backs don’t make any sense.

It's just the nature of the brutal nba concept; too many games, way too physical and humans just aren't cut out to withstand the punishment. Survival of the fittest I guess. How to fix it?

Cut down the no. of games by 25%,
eliminate B2Bs,
limit the max. minutes a player could play to 30,
shorten the game length to college-- two 20 min halfs;

Other ideas?

Yes, we need them now.
I just hope we can let them get more experiences in the g-league before contributing for the main squad.
But maybe it’s a good thing they have a chance for a real test now. 🙂

We’re going to need help from the younger guys now. Coffey in particular, and Boston next. Coffey already plays good defense, but Boston has to learn on the fly.

Bounce back game.
I hope we steady the ship, starting from this game.
If we can win at 60% rate for the whole season. It will keep us at around 4th – 6th seed in the West.
Then, we can insert the younger guys more in the second half of the season when they are ready.
I believe the expanded rotation will help us later in the season and beyond that.
Anyway, let’s see how we respond for this game.

Dependable optimist JM. But after the last 2 I’m very wary of this team. They need an injection of something. Never thot I’d be rooting/hoping for Winslow’s return.

No Luka or Maxi (who always kills us too) and we may just be able to pull this out. Denver is at Phoenix tomorrow so it’s entirely possible we could still move up to the 4 seed if things go favorably.
