Lou, Jamychael, Shamet, Doc.

All that’s missing is Trez.
If he advances, it turns out that the problem is either the clipper star players or front office.

Would Ujiri be available?

Again, just curious since it seems that at various points in the season, there was seeming unanimity here that Ty was a pretty damn good coach. Not sure if you were one of those folks. Of course, no one’s perfect and Ty does occasionally eff up.
I would have preferred a complete new coaching look just to try to put distance between last yrs meltdown. But, Ty earned my respect.

I’ts all about the dynamics of the 3 ball. Because the shot is from so far out, and travels with a lot of force, rim misses tend to fly far, wide and unpredictably, thereby increases the odds that the offense snags the ball. Box outs wont be as effective cuz ball direction is unpredicable. And its very disheartening when they convert. And they love it. And their fans love it. But all in all the bounces favored the Mavs but you can’t bank on those going their way every time.
As to attacking the rim hard, how do you do that if their two 7′ guys form a wall? Just bowl them over? Don’t want “Kapaul” to foul out early.
I agree that we can get this next one. Beyond that, it seems bleak.

Both were open (for a reason obviously) but he’s been making those.. How bad he missed the 1st & coming right back & missing the 2nd made ghost shots look alot worse.. The 2nd shot (not sure if I already mentioned this) but was with the shot clock running low so that was probably the best look they were gonna get.. Again, the spacing to close was a big issue for the horrible offense we saw.. Having your 2 vets turn the ball over, only made matters worse

Whether it’s turnovers, breakdowns or offensive rebounds.. I could be wrong but it seems that every offensive rebound that gets kicked out has resulted in a fuckin made 3.. That shit is disheartening as a fan, I could just imagine how it feels as it player.. Credit the mavs though for converting on 2nd chance opportunities & mistakes

1 other thing the Clips are gonna need to do if they wanna win game 6 is, when they drive (mainly Kawhi & PG) they need to do a better job of attacking the rim with aggression.. The side stepping & looking for contact isn’t gonna work.. If you get an offensive foul for attacking with force & initiating the contact, so be it.. The mavs bigs ain’t made for that, they’re finesse type of bigs who don’t like contact, take it to their ass make them feel you!

It ain’t gonna be easy but I just talked myself into a Clippers win dammit.. Let’s FUCKIN GO!

All 3 were live ball turnovers that led to Maverick layups, including the one Kawhi threw all the way back to halfcourt to give Dallas an outlet pass. And Rondo’s 3PA might as well be turnovers, but at least those didn’t spark easy fast breaks on the other end. The lack of offensive execution was a much bigger issue than half-court defensive execution, or even shot-making variance by the Mavs getting hot. And it’s just stunning to me that the team failed to do the basics offensively with Rondo and Kawhi both on the floor in a random 3rd quarter shift.
