Oh yeah it’s pretty safe to say now that the FO/Ballmer completely blew it going all in on this guy. And I (and others on here) said at the time trading SGA and the picks felt like a mistake. And it turned out to be way more of one than we could’ve imagined.

These Knicks play with grit and heart. Brunson is amazing and Thibs is so much better than Lue. Knicks-Sixers was amazing.

Nova Knicks are so good.
Combined them with OG & I-Hart and they might actually come out of the east. If they can still walk after all the minutes Thibs make them play.
If we can’t get past them, I might root for DAL to beat OKC and wish they battle it out against Minnies.
Hope new team gets a ring. If not for us, I want to see MIN vs NYK for the finals.

So funny how Milwaukee loses its best player to injury, loses in six games (routed in game 6) in the first round and the narrative is “so sad those great guys got those bad breaks.” When we lose tomorrow there will clown emoji after clown emoji and trashing us from pillar to post about what “chokers” we are. Such is the life of a Clipper fan.

They’re all dawg, these Knicks. Clawed back into that game after blowing a 22 pt lead just by sheer grit on the offensive glass by Hartenstein. Really fun to watch.

That series was something else. The hustle play by Hart in the 1st sliding out of bounds. The defense and effort. Brunson’s decision-making. Maxey’s shotmaking. And then that OG dunk as the cherry on top. And I’m still omitting a lot of hidden gems.

Imo it’s up there with the classic Bulls – Pistons series where rewatching every game in its entirety is worth it.

Made a mistake: watched the Knicks and I couldn’t help to compare it to our play…

DiVincenzo defending Maxey. DiVincenzo and Hartenstein defending the pick’n’roll. The second, third, fourth and fifth efforts of this team. The trust level among those players. How Thibs coaches toughness, resiliency, consistent all-out effort and defense but also composure (yet again, the whistle leaned Sixers, yet again, Embiid had multiple borderline dirty fouls; Knicks didn’t whine to the refs, they take the beating, don’t back down from attacking you, get back on D; the composure to make good decisions under a lot of pressure). The confidence they play and shoot with. Their center defense was freaking fantastic throughout. The ball movement that involves everyone. The leadership by so many players.

That is a TEAM. That is a team that maxes out. That is a team that can hold its head up high, win or lose.

Sorry to rave about another team here. I’m just so pissed about the things we DON’T do even though we’re capable of most of them.
