I agree with all of your proposed lineup changes, but we both know that T. Lue is clueless and won’t make any of those changes. He’ll just keep trotting out garbage Zu and garbage Bev so that Dallas can light us up for easy basket after easy basket. Carlisle is actually a smart coach and he prepared his team to exploit all of our weaknesses and boy do we we have tons of them.

Pretty sure Kawhi is gone this offseason but even if he stays this roster around him and PG is a total train wreck. No youth or athleticism, nobody who can create off the dribble just a bunch of spot up jumpshooters who go ice cold at the big moments and who you just have to run them off the line and they can’t punish you by taking it to the rack. I don’t know if we put too much faith in the Logo who maybe has become senile or what but the wasted draft picks and lousy trades have really created a team that maybe looks good on paper but reeks like shit on the basketball court. What a gawd awful shitshow this franchise is.

Also, instead of focusing on defensive side of the ball, we have been proud of being the top 3-point shooting team in the league with few other ways to score. This is like asking for trouble, and for team like Dallas it is now very simple. They are just taking out our only weapon (3-point shooting) and then we are lost.

On the other side, for 2 years in a row we have been a very poor perimeter defensive team. It’s seemed like every game there was someone getting hot on 3-point shot on us. And now we are facing the team that is constructed on greatest playmaker in the game surrounded by shooters. Then, we should not be surprised that Dallas has been so hot.

This is today’s NBA. Good teams make easy shots. And, I agree with the general take, Rick Carlise is outcoaching our coaches for the second year in a row.

This dynamic was doomed from the start. Kawhi is fools gold, PG is worse. And the team construction beyond those two has been abysmal.

Start Rondo. Bring Mann off bench before Bev. (Bench bev altogether he’s awful.) bench Zu for ibaka/Batum/Boogie. Zu is awful this series and wildly overrated.

I say all of this but it doesn’t matter. Even if they come back from this (and they won’t) they aren’t getting past 2nd round. It was obvious what this team was back during that first NOP loss. They are garbage.
