I think the issue is that Allen and Mobley just aren’t that good. They actually need Harden to optimize those guys.

I can’t substantiate this, but I don’t believe either Harden or Donovan Mitchell is the guy to bring a championship home. Mitchell has been unbelievable at times, but never at the end of a big playoff series. Kinda like Harden.

Maybe the combo of the two of them will make a difference; but I don’t believe so.

I admit to hate watching the Cavs now and am rooting for OKC in today’s game. If Cleveland can’t beat this depleted OKC squad, the fraud alert level should go high.

I understand whyJames did what he did to get out of LAC. However, I’m not convinced that the team we had pre trade deadline isn’t better than the one he is now with in Cleveland. The West has 2 credible championship caliber teams, and I might take that pre-deadline LAC team w/Kawhi playing like this over the inexperienced Spurs. Denver has the talent on paper to be a 3rd championship caliber team, but they’re not that team today. Jokic has a long road back to superstar level play post injury and Gordon has been out for an extended period.
