So far, I think they have a decent chance of bringing back Hart for the mMLE. If not, I think you can get a decent backup center for the mMLE without having to give up Morris. I guess if you can get a star upgrade at center you consider it, but I just feel like it’s not a position you need to spend a lot of money, and not sure you’re getting a good one for Morris anyways, given his age and contract. For example, I’d probably rather go after guys like Kevon Looney, Dwight Howard, Drummond for the mMLE, than trade for like a Steven Adams.

Batum is also a priority, means I guess ideally you’re hoping to just run it back. At some point you hope you can consolidate some of that talent into a star, but until then, just acquire and keep as much talent as you can.

I feel like if the Clips end the season at 8 and NOP at 10, there is maybe a 20% chance they even have to meet, and a 10% chance they end up out of the playoffs because of it.

Lakers missing the playoffs, I have 100% chance of taking pleasure in.

Yeah I really like our two bigs and they are above average and serviceable. But every team has an identity and I think our identity is three and D switchable wings. I just love the idea of RoCo, Nic, Terrenc and Amir along with Luke drilling threes. Luke is by no means a lock down defender but he’s stocky for his position and such a plus drilling threes that he puts the candles on the cake—to use Sieman’s’ parlance. Collectively Nic, Terrence and Amir can run the offense too.

I want to see more RoCo at C, especially when Zu and Hart are struggling. The team just plays better when he’s out there. He reminds me of a super-sized Mann – dude just hustles all the time and does all the glue-guy stuff you could ever want. Maybe don’t force him to guard Jokic/Embiid, but he’s more than capable of hanging w/ smaller and/or non-elite Cs.
